Cloncurry to Camooweal

       Another free camp 60ks east of Cloncurry, lots more vans around now but quiet and plenty of room. 

      Our caravans stop lights not working, so we spent some time trying to get them working to no avail.

Ray tried something else to fix the brake lights this morning but still nothing, so we set off hoping to get to an auto electrician on the way. Checked the lights after stopping and they work!! Who knows? Hopefully they continue to work.

More traffic now, though not enough to cause a problem but we seem to be catching up with all the other grey nomads going in both directions. 

 

Stopped at Mt Isa for some shopping then on to Camooweal as suggested by a friend who happened to phone last night, we decided to go straight there to the free camp by the river and stay the night even though we only arrived at lunchtime.

Such a lovely relaxing spot, so many wild birds, beautiful.
